Pork in Lettuce Leaf Cups

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 spring onion
    • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
    • 1 red chili (finely chopped)
    • 250 grams minced pork (low fat)
    • 1 teaspoon Chinese five spice
    • 220 gram water chestnuts (finely chopped)
    • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 75 gram bean sprouts
    • coriander leaves (for garnish)

    Instructions

    1. Mix all the ingredients except the lettuce, bean sprouts, and oil in a bowl.
    2. In a hot saucepan, add the oil and then the meat mixture in batches.
    3. Cook, stirring frequently, to break the pork into a fine mince. Once cooked, blend in the bean sprouts.
