Taiwanese Shrimp Balls

    Ingredients

    • 500 gram shrimp or prawn meat (cleaned)
    • 4 water chestnuts (finely minced)
    • 1 egg
    • 4 spring onions (thinly sliced)
    • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 4 teaspoons corn flour
    • 1 saucpan water

    Instructions

    1. Mince all the ingredients and mix into a smooth paste.
    2. Form small balls and slightly flatten them.
    3. Boil the water and cook the balls one at a time by dropping them into the boiling water. Remove when they float to the surface.
