    Ingredients

    • 1 cup water
    • 2 teaspoons Red Miso Paste (Akamiso)
    • 10 - 13 Somen noodles (approx. 1/3 of a bundle)
    • Square piece of tofu (cut into small squares)
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried cut Wakame (seaweed)
    • 1/2 teaspoon Dashi powder (bonito flavouring)

    Instructions

    1. In a saucepan, bring some water to a boil.
    2. Add Wakame and boil until the seaweed turns into small squares.
    3. Drain the water and rinse with cold tap water.
    4. Add 1/2 cup of water to the saucepan and bring to a boil.
    5. Once the water begins to boil, add Somen noodles (or tofu) and cook for approximately 2 minutes
    6. Pour in the miso paste and add Dashi powder.
    7. Stir well over low heat for approximately 1-2 minutes.
    8. Serve immediately.
