    Ingredients

    The Dough

    • 2 1/2 cups plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup yoghurt

    The Filling

    • 1 dash vegetable oil
    • 1/4 cup vegetable stock
    • 2 potatoes (boiled and crushed)
    • 1 onion (finely chopped)
    • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
    • 1 1/2 tablespoon ginger (freshly grated)
    • 1 teaspoon garam masala
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 1/2 cups green peas
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • cayenne (to taste)

    Instructions

    The Dough

    1. Put flour and salt in a food processor with a dough blade. Mix.
    2. Add yogurt and mix until it becomes a soft ball.
    3. Remove the dough and knead for about one minute. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour

    The Filling

    1. In a pan, add a little oil then add the ginger, garlic, coriander, and garam masala.
    2. Slowly mix in the crushed potato and peas with a little stock and the remaining ingredients.
    3. Mix well and set aside to cool.

    Assembly and Baking

    1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (430 degrees Fahrenheit).
    2. Remove dough from refrigerator and separate into 12 small balls. On a floured surface, flatten with a rolling pin to make pancake-shaped dough.
    3. Take a spoonful of the filling and add to one side of the dough, then fold over and seal edges with a wet fork.
    4. Place on a greased baking tray and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.
    5. Serve hot with a warm dipping sauce.
