    Ingredients

    • 1 kg Chicken Breast Fillets
    • 3 tablespoons yoghurt
    • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
    • 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    • 2 teaspoons cumin (ground)
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 1 1/4 cups oil
    • 200 ml tomato sauce
    • 100 ml tomato paste

    Instructions

    1. Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces and place in a large bowl.
    2. Mix together the yogurt, grated ginger, chilli powder, turmeric, ground coriander, ground cumin, lemon juice, and 2 tbsp of oil. Pour over the chicken and let marinate for 5 hours
    3. Grill the chicken on skewers until partially cooked
    4. Heat the remaining oil in a wok. Add the tomato sauce and tomato paste. When hot, lower the heat slightly and add the chicken. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until tender
    5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and onion. Serve with naan bread and basmati rice.
