Ingredients
- 8 squares fried tofu
- 1/2 cup bamboo shoots
- 4 Chinese dried mushrooms
- 8 pieces meat, chicken, or pork
Marinade
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon corn flour
- 1/2 teaspoon seasame oil
Soup Mixture
- 6 cup water
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon seasame oil
- 2 tablespoon spring onion (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (chopped)
- 1 egg
Thickening Mixture
- 1 tablespoon corn flour
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Marinade the meat in the sauce for half an hour.
- Soak the dried fungus and mushrooms in warm water for 20 minutes until soft.
- Cut the mushrooms, tofu, and other ingredients into bite-size pieces.
- Boil the soup mixture, add the marinade and meat, then mushrooms, fungus, tofu, and bamboo shoots.
- Beat the egg and set aside.
- Add the remaining ingredients, except for the green onion and tofu.
- Mix corn flour with water and add to the boiling mixture to help thicken.
- Slowly stir in the beaten egg, stirring in one direction only.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before adding spring onions and tofu.
- Add salt and pepper to taste, and serve.
